Description: The Savannah Bicycle Campaign, in cooperation with the City of Savannah, will observe National Bike to Work Day a bicycle commuting event on May 15. At 8 a.m., a bicycle commuting convoy will depart from the Habersham Village Shopping Center, bound for Davant Park. For APCC residents, who have considered riding to work downtown, this is a great day to \”test drive\” bicycle commuting. Additonal bicycle convoys will depart from Baldwin Park and Gorndonston. In Davant Park (at the corner of Abercorn Street and East Perry Lane) bicycle commuters will enjoy free coffee and refreshments from bicycle-friendly coffee purveyors, Jittery Joe\’s. Despite the stormy weather, the 2009 Oyster Roast was a huge success. Over 75 members braved the rain to enjoy oysters, beer, and the amazing music of The Jazz Truth Quintet!

The Neighborhood Association would like to invite all members to attend the Oyster Roast on Saturday, February 28th at 6pm at Atlantic Mall (Atlantic Ave between 45th and 46th St).

Enjoy oysters, chicken and beer while listening to the Jazz Truth Quartet. Tickets are $20 per person, checks made payable to APCCNA can be sent to APCCNA Oyster Roast , 17 E. 52nd St.

 RSVP by February 19th.
